From October 2016 we are looking to appoint a reliable, flexible and organised person to join Bushey Meads School as an IT and Audio Visual Technician to support and manage the trust’s IT and audio visual provision. This is a varied role with no two days being the same and provides many exciting opportunities for the successful candidate. The salary for this post is APT & C Points 17 – 20 (depending on skills and experience) plus London Fringe (currently £17,547 – £19,238p.a. + £832p.a.).
The ideal candidate will be a multi-skilled individual with a real passion for Audio Visual and a background in IT who would like to develop their skillset in both areas. Experience of working with audio visual equipment is desirable. Competency with Microsoft operating systems, a basic knowledge of computer networks and use of Microsoft Office applications is essential.
Server management and a background in providing technical support, particularly in an educational environment is desirable, although on the job training will be provided. A willingness to upskill and undertake suitable training is essential. Applicants should, ideally, be educated to post 16 level or above and have a high degree of common sense.
