The Future of Hertfordshire Library Service

libYou will be aware of recent debates over the future of library services throughout the country, and of the campaigns headed by high profile authors and celebrities to keep our libraries open.

Hertfordshire Library Service is now undertaking a major public consultation to devise a new 10 year strategy – and they want our views.

The Public Consultation runs until 31st December.  There is a questionnaire to complete, public meetings and library drop-ins to discuss the issues further.

Libraries are vitally important and provide many services to the community beyond just loaning books, and we can have a say in shaping the future of Hertfordshire’s libraries.

Please take the time to complete the questionnaire by either going online or by filling in a paper copy, available in all libraries, to ensure the future of our libraries.
