Half term has now arrived for the students as tomorrow is an INSET Day for all our teaching staff. Since I wrote, the last couple of weeks have been exceptionally busy with a number of the staff and students (cast and crew) preparing for this year’s school production, ‘Little Shop of Horrors’. Along with parents, carers, students and staff, I have been entertained each night this week with a show that I believe is the best ever.
Tonight is the finale and I will be there supporting them for the fourth and final evening –it seems such a shame it has to end. So much work has been put into the rehearsals and preparation to bring the show to the standard it is. Apparently there are still some tickets available – I would thoroughly recommend you consider coming along tonight if you haven’t already done so earlier in the week – a fun and entertaining evening will be had by all! Special thanks to Mr Knowles in Drama and Ms Lavelle and Ms Wright in Music for all their efforts, as well as all the other staff who have contributed in all sorts of ways. A fitting end to a successful half-term.
I wish all your children a restful half term break and look forward to seeing them all back promptly for an 8:40am start on Monday 24th February.
