Executive Principal’s Blog – 9 October 2015

As we continue to strengthen our outward facing culture – sharing outstanding practice with many prestigious organisations and schools, it has been wonderful recently to see the continued success of Bushey Meads being profiled locally, regionally and even nationally.

Our GCSE and A level Art students are exhibiting their outstanding work in the local Bushey Library, receiving much acclaim for their exceptional artistic ability; our Year 10 GCSE Dance group showcased their talents at the Royal Academy of Dance – one of the world’s most prestigious dance establishments, and just last week we heard that our Satellite Athletics Club (delivered in partnership with Watford Harriers) has won the East Region Satellite Club of the Year!

These examples are among many that reflect all the hard work that staff at the school put into ensuring that all our students showcase their work at the highest level and also connect in with a wide spectrum of varied and powerful learning experiences.

Do enjoy the weekend and don’t forget to click on the link to read about the rest of this week’s BMS News…….
