Executive Principal’s Blog – 29 April 2016

EPB 160429On Tuesday evening at 7.00 pm it was a real highlight of the week to join over 150 parents, carers, staff and students for Bushey Meads School’s first ever GCSE Dance Showcase Evening taking place in the Main Hall.

Now equipped with a state of the art sprung dance floor and superb raked seating, it was a wonderful moment in time to enjoy the surroundings, watch some truly inspiring performances and also reflect on how the vibrant and eclectic curriculum at Bushey Meads School has developed over the last two years to now offer so many more engaging subjects; a curriculum that provides all students with a real breadth of study and great opportunities to enjoy and excel.

I would like to congratulate all the Year 10 GCSE Dance students and all the staff who made the evening such a success, but especially Ms Rowden – our outstanding Dance teacher who has had such an impact across our learning community in such a short space of time. The evening was very special.
