Executive Principal’s Blog – 29.9.17: Be inspired or inspire others?

It has been another busy week at BMS this week, but one that has again been very successful in the life of the school.

Our first ever Open Morning for Prospective Parents on Monday attracted nearly 200 visitors who followed in the footsteps of over 1250 children and parents and carers who joined us at the school last Thursday for our busiest ever Year 6 Open Evening. The feedback we had from many of them was hugely encouraging.

In addition, our morning tours for families considering our superb school will run until October half term – three times a week. We have also had important visitors and even a camera crew in our school this week, capturing some of the great aspects of our learning community.

A quote I read this week reminded me of our school “to be inspired is great, to inspire is incredible” and this is because our visitors commented so strongly about the students and staff at our school, using adjectives such as inspiring; powerful but not surprising words, as our students and staff are inspiring.

Bushey Meads School is without doubt a great place to work and learn so, as usual, don’t forget to click on the link to read about more about this week’s BMS News……..
