Executive Principal’s Blog – 25 September 2015

On Wednesday evening of this week it was wonderful to be part of the PiXL National Celebration Event at Central Hall Westminster, London and celebrate the outstanding success of three students from our hard working 2014.15 Year 11 cohort – nominated to receive prestigious awards. I was also delighted to see a number of our talented singers performing in the 80 strong PiXL Choir directed by Bazil Meade the ‘Father of British Gospel Music’ and founder member of the London Community Gospel Choir.

It was a fantastic occasion, attended by many dignitaries and school leaders from across the country and wonderful to see Bushey Meads School so well represented. Our outstanding success continues and sets the standard for all of us to aspire to over the coming months and years.

Thursday was also a very busy day with many hundreds of families visiting the school’s annual Open Evening for Prospective Parents. Our school continues to be hugely oversubscribed and the evening was definitely a ‘moment in time’ to be very proud of what we offer as an inclusive, high performing learning community.

Do enjoy the weekend and don’t forget to click on the link to read about the rest of this week’s BMS News……..
