Executive Principal’s Blog – 23 January 2015

Our students continue to Aspire to Achieve and really excel at the highest level – not just in lessons on a day to day basis, but also in all the many extra-curricular activities that are offered across and beyond our school curriculum. On Tuesday a group of Key Stage 3 students involved in the school’s innovative Science Technology Engineering and Maths (STEM) Club won the regional round of the ‘2015 Formula 1 in Schools’ event held at the prestigious venue of Chelsea Football Club.

I would like to congratulate all the young engineers involved and thank Mr Chalkley our hard working Head of Design and Technology Faculty for leading the trip and securing Bushey Meads a place at the Nationals in Birmingham.

With now just 10 school days to go before our annual school production Les Miserable, do make sure you have booked your tickets. As the final rehearsals gather momentum I can assure you it will be a stunning week of entertainment of the highest quality.

May I wish you a great weekend and don’t forget to click on the link to read about the rest of this week’s BMS News…….
