Executive Principal’s Blog – 15 January 2016

This week we have had a real focus on the 100 minutes of tutor time that we facilitate throughout each and every week here at BMS and I would like to thank all our hard working Form Tutors who play such a crucial role in the lives of all of our students. As parents please do talk to your children about all the important assemblies and tutor time activities that they participate in and do encourage them to play an active role during these important morning sessions.

I would like to remind you of next week’s Staff Professional Development Afternoon scheduled for Thursday 21st January. On this day students will leave the school at 1.20 pm. Mullanys buses have been informed and students should purchase any necessary lunch snacks from the School Restaurant at breaktime.

As parents/carers I’m sure you are also aware from our Groupcall message earlier this week that we are currently recruiting for a Parent Governor to join our hardworking and committed Governing Body. The Governing Body play a really crucial role with our ongoing school improvement journey so, if you are interested in joining them, don’t hold back and put in a nomination. Do look out for further details in this week’s newsletter.

With best wishes for a good weekend and don’t forget to click on the link to read about the rest of this week’s BMS News……..
