At this time of year in schools across the country it is always an extremely busy time with GCSE, AS and A2 practical exams, coursework deadlines, marking and moderation and submission of work samples to the many and varied examination boards. With that in mind I would like to thank all the dedicated staff here at BMS for all their hard work and commitment to the ongoing success of the school.
Another factor for the busyness at this time of year is our ongoing recruitment drive to secure the very best teachers to come and work in our wonderful learning community. I am delighted to report that we have appointed, even in the last fortnight, some fantastically talented staff, including some superb English, modern foreign languages, music, mathematics and science teachers – some with proven leadership experience and others at literally the top of their game in the classroom.
The school continues to move forward towards a very positive future and we look forward to celebrating much further success over the coming months and years. Do enjoy a well-deserved rest this weekend and don’t forget to click on the link to read about the rest of this week’s BMS News……..
