We are looking for an efficient, well organised individual to join our school as Examinations Officer and to administer all internal and external examinations throughout the academic year.
This post is 37 hours per week, term-time + 2 weeks (to include 5 INSET days)
Bushey Meads School (BMS) is an 11-18, oversubscribed, successful mixed comprehensive specialist technology college which provides education for the full ability range of students. It is committed to continuous improvement and creativity across the curriculum.
The ideal person will be calm, confident and reliable with a ‘can do’ approach to their work.
Responsibilities will include the administration of all external and internal examinations; understanding and adhering to all JCQ regulations; liaising with senior leaders, teachers and associate staff to ensure the smooth running of all examination procedures; recruiting, training and managing a team of invigilators and to organise results days.
The successful candidate will have excellent IT skills, proficient in Microsoft Office and SIMS with an ability to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Salary for this post is APT&C Points 26-29 + fringe, depending on experience.
(23,166 – £25,694 + £832) paid pro rata
Applicants should be educated to post 16 level or above and have a high degree of common sense. Experience of working in a similar position is desirable and the willingness to undertake suitable training is essential.
